Expert in locomotor control and its adaptation to the environment in healthy persons and persons with impaired mobility. Interested in the development of clinical tools for mobility evaluation and treatment. Research tools include motion analyses, electrophysiology and virtual reality.

Maude Desjardins
Her research interests focus on various issues relating to voice disorders, particularly those related to the development and treatment of muscular tension dysphonia and presbyphonia. Her work seeks in particular to establish how different aspects of breathing contribute to perpetuating such problems, to validate established clinical practices in the field of speech therapy, and to guide the development of new, more personalized therapies.

An audiologist by training, his research focuses on various hearing pathologies, including tinnitus, hyperacusis, misophonia and acoustic shock syndrome.
